We offer treatment services to include psychotherapy, psychiatric medication management, and addiction services. We treat the following mental health disorders, however this is not an exhaustive list as each individual case is unique.
We currently see children 8 and older and all adult patients. We do not diagnose autism disorders as these require a specialized exam. We do however treat individuals with autism or other intellectual disabilities.
If you have questions about our services or would like to schedule an appointment, please don't hesitate to reach out. Our friendly staff is here to help you every step of the way.
Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or fear that can be mild or intense. It’s a normal response to stress or uncertainty, but when it becomes overwhelming or constant, it can interfere with daily life.
Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition that causes extreme mood swings, including emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression). During manic episodes, a person may feel overly energetic, excited, or irritable, while depressive episodes can bring sadness, low energy, and hopelessness.
Body Dysmorphic Disorder is a mental health condition where a person becomes overly focused on perceived flaws in their appearance — even if these flaws are minor or not visible to others. This can lead to distress, low self-esteem, and behaviors like excessive mirror checking, grooming, or avoiding social situations.
Dementia is a group of conditions that cause a decline in memory, thinking, and reasoning skills. It can affect a person’s ability to perform daily activities and communicate. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type. Dementia is usually progressive, meaning symptoms worsen over time.
Eating disorders are mental health conditions that involve unhealthy relationships with food, body image, and eating habits. They can include eating too little, too much, or obsessing over weight and shape. Common types include anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. These conditions can seriously affect both physical and emotional health.
Panic Disorder is a mental health condition where a person experiences sudden and repeated panic attacks—intense episodes of fear or discomfort that happen without warning. Symptoms can include a racing heart, shortness of breath, dizziness, or a feeling of losing control. These attacks can lead to worry about when the next one will happen.
Personality disorders are mental health conditions where a person’s way of thinking, feeling, and behaving is consistently different from what is expected, causing problems in relationships and daily life. These patterns are long-lasting and can make it hard to adapt to everyday situations.
Postpartum Depression is a type of depression that occurs after childbirth, affecting a mother’s mood, energy, and ability to care for herself or her baby. It can cause feelings of sadness, anxiety, exhaustion, and disconnection, and is more serious and long-lasting than the “baby blues.”
Schizophrenia and other thought disorders are serious mental health conditions that affect how a person thinks, feels, and understands reality. They may involve symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, and trouble focusing or communicating clearly. These disorders can impact daily functioning and relationships.
Sleep disorders are conditions that affect the quality, timing, or duration of sleep, making it hard to fall asleep, stay asleep, or feel rested. Common types include insomnia, sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, and narcolepsy. These disorders can impact mood, energy, and overall health.
